Copyright

This policy explains who owns HWVibes content, how you may and may not use it, and how to report copyright infringement.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

The short version: Our original content belongs to HWVibes. You may quote short passages with credit and a link, but please do not republish, scrape or use our content to train AI systems. If you believe something on HWVibes infringes your copyright, email contact@hwvibes.com with the subject “Copyright notice”.

Ownership of our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, original graphics, tools (such as our added-sugar converter), recipes, audio versions and page design on HWVibes are the original work of HWVibes and are protected by copyright. Third-party material, such as licensed images or quoted extracts, remains the property of its owners.

What you may do

  • Read, print and save pages for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • Share links to our pages.
  • Quote short passages, with clear credit to HWVibes and a link to the original page.

For anything more, such as republishing an article or using it in teaching materials, please ask us first.

What you may not do

  • Republish whole articles or substantial parts of them, on a website or elsewhere, without written permission.
  • Present our content as your own.
  • Scrape, copy or harvest content at scale, manually or automatically.
  • Use our content to train, fine-tune or build AI or machine-learning systems without written permission.
  • Remove or change attribution, medical disclaimers, safety notes or reviewer credits.

Removing disclaimers and safety notes is a particular concern for us, because it can put readers at risk.

Third-party material

We use third-party material only with permission, under a licence, or where the law allows it, such as fair use in the United States or fair dealing in India and other countries, for example when quoting a short extract for commentary or criticism. If you believe we have used your material without the right to do so, please tell us.

Reporting infringement

Email contact@hwvibes.com with the subject “Copyright notice”. In line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), your notice should include:

  • identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  • the URL of the page on HWVibes where the material appears;
  • your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf; and
  • your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may take longer to handle. When we receive a valid notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material.

Counter-notices

If material you provided, such as a comment, was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address. Include the removed material and its former location, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your signature. We may share it with the person who sent the original notice and may restore the material if appropriate.

Repeat infringers

Where appropriate, we may remove content from, and block commenting or other submissions by, anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.

Misrepresentation

Please make sure your notice or counter-notice is accurate. A person who knowingly makes a false claim may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under applicable law. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice first.

Notices under Indian law

HWVibes is operated from India. We also respond to copyright complaints made under India’s Copyright Act, 1957. Please send the same information listed above, and we will review and act on your complaint in line with applicable law.

HWVibes content is general health information only, not medical advice. See our Medical Disclaimer and Terms of Service.
