The short version
Display advertising
We use third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, to show adverts on this site. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve adverts based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
We do not choose the individual adverts you see, and an advert appearing on HWVibes is not an endorsement. If you see an advert here that seems misleading or inappropriate for a health site, please tell us so we can block that category.

Affiliate links
Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, HWVibes may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
Where a page contains affiliate links, we mark it clearly on that page as well as here. We are not paid to write about any particular product, and no retailer sees an article before it is published.
The rules we hold ourselves to
Health content and commerce are an uncomfortable mix, so we are strict about the boundary:
- We never recommend a product because it pays better. If a cheaper or free option is the better answer, that is what the article says.
- We do not run affiliate links on medical topics where a purchase could delay someone seeking proper care. You will not find us monetising symptoms, diagnoses, or disease management.
- We do not sell supplements, cures, detoxes, or test kits, and we do not take commission on them.
- Medical review is never sponsored. Our reviewer checks wording for clarity and safety, and has no financial interest in anything we link to.
- We disclose before you click, not in small print afterwards.
Sponsored content
If we ever publish sponsored or paid content, it will be labelled unmistakably at the top of the page, before the article begins. We will not publish sponsored content that conflicts with our editorial standards or that a reader could mistake for independent advice.
Why we take money at all
Research, writing, expert review, and hosting cost time and money. Advertising and the occasional commission are what let HWVibes stay free, avoid a paywall, and keep publishing without a sponsor dictating the topics. We would rather explain that openly than pretend the site runs on goodwill.
