We want you to know how HWVibes content is made. This page explains where writing and editing tools, including AI, may help, and where people stay firmly in charge.

How AI tools may help
Like many publishers, we use writing and editing tools, and some of them use AI. They may assist with:
- organising research notes and source material;
- suggesting outlines and article structure;
- drafting sections for a human editor to rewrite and check;
- editing for clarity, grammar, tone and reading level; and
- layout tasks, such as formatting tables, summaries and FAQs.
Some articles also offer a “Listen to this article” audio version, produced with text-to-speech software from the published text.
What AI never does
- Final decisions: AI does not decide what we publish, what a page says or which sources we trust. People do.
- Medical review: AI does not medically review our content. Medical review is carried out by a qualified doctor.
- Personal advice: AI is never used to give personalised health advice, to answer readers’ health questions or to interpret anyone’s symptoms or results.
Human editorial review
Every page is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. The editor checks claims against reputable sources, removes anything unsupported, adds safety notes and when-to-get-help sections where needed, and makes sure the page stays education-only. Pages are published under the HWVibes Editorial Team byline, and HWVibes is responsible for everything it publishes, however it was drafted.
Medical review
Selected articles, prioritised by medical risk, are also reviewed by Dr. Hena A. Ansari, MBBS, MD (Pathology). Reviewed pages show her name and a “Last reviewed” date; pages without that box have not been expert reviewed. See our Medical Review Policy.
Your data and AI tools
We do not enter reader personal data into AI tools. That includes messages, emails, comments, form submissions and anything you tell us about your health. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
Images and illustrations
Images and illustrations on HWVibes may be created or edited with digital tools, which can include AI tools. They are there to illustrate a topic, not to show medical detail. Unless a caption clearly says otherwise, please do not treat an image as an accurate medical or anatomical diagram, or use it to judge symptoms.
The limits of AI
AI tools can make mistakes. They can state things confidently that are wrong, out of date or missing important context. That is why we never publish AI output without human checking, why we verify claims against reputable sources, and why we correct errors when we find them. If you spot one, please tell us through our Corrections Policy.
Your responsibility as a reader
However a page was made, it is general information only and not medical advice. Please do not take any medicine or supplement, change your diet, or try any exercise, remedy, device or procedure described on HWVibes without first consulting your own doctor or another qualified professional. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HWVibes and its operator are not responsible for outcomes if you act on information from the site. See our Medical Disclaimer.
