About HWVibes

About

HWVibes is a free health-and-wellness education website. This page explains who we are, who runs the site, how our content is made and checked, and where its limits are.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

The short version: HWVibes publishes calm, clear, general health education. It is run by Mohammad Faisal Khan, founder and editor, who is not a doctor. Selected articles are reviewed by Dr. Hena A. Ansari (MBBS, MD). Nothing here is medical advice, so please talk to your own doctor before acting on anything you read.

Who we are

HWVibes (hwvibes.com) is an independent, free-to-read health-and-wellness education website. We write for readers who want calm, clear explanations and practical next steps, without fear, shame or extreme rules.

Our articles cover everyday questions, such as cravings, energy dips, label reading, routines and habit change, as well as topics where getting the basics right matters more, such as kidney health and blood sugar.

HWVibes is not a hospital, clinic or healthcare provider, and it is not affiliated with any government health authority. We publish general information to help you understand a topic and prepare better questions for your doctor.

Who runs HWVibes

HWVibes is published and edited by Mohammad Faisal Khan, founder and editor, based in India. As editor, he is responsible for what HWVibes publishes.

He is not a doctor or a licensed healthcare professional, and he does not present himself as one. That is exactly why we rely on reputable public health sources, keep our content education-only, and ask a qualified doctor to review selected articles.

Our articles are published under the byline HWVibes Editorial Team, the author identity for pages created and maintained by HWVibes. That page also sets out our full Editorial Policy.

Our medical reviewer

Selected articles are reviewed by Dr. Hena A. Ansari, MBBS, MD (Pathology), Professor, Department of Pathology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, India. You can read more on her reviewer profile.

What her review does:

  • Checks the accuracy of medical wording and statements.
  • Checks clarity and safety framing, including when-to-get-help notes.
  • Flags misleading, alarmist or absolute claims so we can fix them.

What her review does not do:

  • It is not clinical care and does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
  • It is not a personal recommendation for you or anyone else.
  • It does not cover every page on HWVibes, only selected articles.

Reviewed pages show her name and a “Last reviewed” date. Pages without that box have not been expert reviewed. She has no financial interest in our ads or links, and review is never sponsored. Our Medical Review Policy explains the process in full.

Our mission

Our mission is to help you understand what is happening in your body and your routine, reduce overwhelm, and recognise when it is time to talk to a professional.

Our values are simple: clarity over complexity, calm instead of fear, safety first, and transparency about our sources, reviews and updates.

What we cover

Our main topic areas are:

  • Sugar and cravings, including label reading and added sugar.
  • Kidney health, including kidney stones.
  • Nutrition and diet, including a general meal-planning article for people living with kidney disease, written to support conversations with their care team.
  • General health, such as body aches, signs of vitamin deficiency and heating pads.
  • Mental wellbeing, such as somatic and nervous-system exercises.
  • Health news, such as Nipah virus awareness.

You will also find recipes (for example, an adrenal cocktail drink), an interactive added-sugar converter that runs in your browser and stores nothing, “Listen to this article” audio versions, and occasional quizzes and polls.

What we do not do

  • We do not diagnose conditions or interpret your symptoms or test results.
  • We do not create treatment plans or give dosing instructions.
  • We do not prescribe or recommend medicines or supplements for individuals.
  • We do not give personal medical advice by email, comments or the contact form.
  • We do not promise instant results, miracle cures or guaranteed outcomes.
  • We do not sell supplements, cures, detoxes or test kits.
  • We do not shame readers or use fear to hold attention.
  • We do not replace your doctor or any other qualified professional.

How we create content

Sources. We build articles from reputable public health sources, such as the CDC, FDA, NIH and MedlinePlus, WHO, NHS, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, along with peer-reviewed research. Key sources are listed on the page.

Editorial process. We start from the real questions readers ask, check claims against sources, and add safety notes and when-to-get-help sections. A human editor reviews every page before it is published. The full process is on our Editorial Policy page.

AI-assisted drafting. Writing and editing tools, including AI, may assist with organising research, outlining, drafting, editing and layout. A human editor reviews everything before publishing, AI is never used to give personalised advice, and no reader data is fed into AI tools. Read our AI Content Disclosure.

Medical review. Selected pages, prioritised by medical risk, are also reviewed by Dr. Hena A. Ansari, as described above.

Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it. See our Corrections Policy.

How we are funded

HWVibes is free to read. To cover research, writing, expert review and hosting, we use or may use display advertising (such as Google AdSense) and occasional affiliate links. We have not published sponsored content so far; if we ever do, it will be clearly labelled.

Money does not decide what we write. Advertisers do not choose our topics or see articles before publication, we do not choose the individual ads you see, an ad is not an endorsement, and medical review is never sponsored. Read our Advertising Policy and Affiliate Disclosure for details.
